About the Organization
Daily Bread Ministries (DBM) helps people reach their full potential by connecting resources with needs in partnership with businesses, churches, and nonprofits. DBM, a faith-based food ministry, began providing services in 1996 and has quietly become a major supplier of rescued food to San Antonio's often overlooked and frequently underserved "poorest of the poor".
Their effort to supply free food and other goods to churches and compassion organizations has grown to over 100 partners who reach our city to supply the needs of those they serve.
Volunteer InformationVolunteers will sort food and/or household products (not clothing). Work will take place in a warehouse that is not climate controlled, so dress accordingly for the temperatures. Closed-toe shoes recommended.
