Volunteer Training

Join Senior Education Coordinator Erin Magerl for a hands-on training designed to prepare volunteers to lead engaging nature walks at Mitchell Lake. You’ll learn tips for guiding students and visitors on our trails, with a focus on supporting school field trips as well as seasonal programs like Migratory Bird Fest.

Space is limited, and priority will be given to volunteers interested in helping with field trips.
