Lasagna Love (https://www.lasagnalove.org/) is a global movement with thousands of people cooking and delivering homemade meals to families in their communities. What we do is simple: we feed families, spread kindness, and strengthen communities. Our mission is not only to help address the incredible rise in food insecurity among families but also to provide a simple act of love and kindness during this time full of uncertainty and stress.
Our volunteer commitment is flexible and set by each volunteer or group based on availability. Volunteers and organizations are able to select how often they would like to provide a meal: once a week, every other week, once a month or a one-time commitment. You select your driving distance stating how far you would like to deliver and also if you are able to cook for any special restrictions and allergies. The Lasagna Love Team does the best to match you with a recipient in your area in need. We also provide online trainings to help you get started and drop off meals contact free, recipes if you are looking for inspiration, and any other support you need. We are also available to work with organizations to assist in putting together a community service event on a monthly, bi-monthly or each semester.
