Join local alumni, students and parents as we give back to the community by rolling up our sleeves at the Houston Food Bank Saturday January 26th! We will be hosting a catered lunch at the Food Bank from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. if you would like to visit with your fellow Trinity alumni; the cost is $15, and all profits benefit the Food Bank. Register here to join us for the lunch.
If you just want to join for the volunteering, please arrive at the Food Bank by 12:30 p.m. to sign in and join the group picture in the main lobby at 12:45 p.m. The food bank will be giving volunteer instructions shortly after, and the work starts at 1:00 p.m., lasting until 3:30 or 4:00 p.m., though you are able to leave anytime if you need.
Please be sure to wear comfortable clothes, sporting your Trinity pride if you can by wearing maroon. Volunteers are sorting, loading, and moving many types of food through the session, so you MUST be wearing closed-toe shoes to participate, and the Food Bank requires long sleeved shirts.
