Talk & Film by Artist Jim Hodges

Wednesday, November 7th, 2018 from 6:00pm to 9:30pm (CT)

Volunteers will help check guests in. You will be able to watch the film as part of your shift. Directly following the films end, you will assist with putting up chairs.

World-renowned artist Jim Hodges will show and narrate his new film, Jim Hodges (a Trailer), surrounded by his sculpture With Liberty and Justice for All (A Work in Progress). The film presents his expansive and ever-surprising body of work that manifests in multiple forms while engaging our sensory perception, attention, recognition, and memory. (2018, 54 min., NR.)

After the film, Hodges will answer questions and share his plans for a new community collaborative arts hub, founded to give artists from varied disciplines, including musicians and dancers, a place to perform alongside artworks.
