Teaching Garden Work Day: Transitioning to a Fall Garden

Saturday, September 12th, 2020 from 9:30am to 12:00pm (CT)

About

This month's project is: Transitioning to a Fall Garden
Clean up the summer plans that are done and compost biomass. We will then plant early fall garden plants and talk about what you can grow in Texas over the Winter!

No experience required. For this project, volunteers should be able to bend and stoop to the ground for planting. Please dress for the weather, and consider a hat, sunscreen, and bug spray. Bring your own garden gloves, if you have them; if you do not bring them, garden gloves will be provided.

For groups larger than 5 people, please contact our volunteer coordinator Ariel Cummins at ariel@cibolo.org to make sure we have proper accommodations for you.
